The COVID-19 global humanitarian and economic crisis has forced individuals and companies to completely change how they live and work. What used to be normal is no longer normal. Athletes play to empty stadiums and arenas; hand shakes are a thing of the past, and meetings are held via video conferencing instead of in person. In this backdrop customer experience has taken on an entirely new meaning.
To add to this global crisis that hits us right where we live, Hurricane Sally devastated the Gulf Coast in mid-September, and for the Callaghan Law Office, it hit us particularly hard. Our office was completely flooded and has not been able to re-open since September. Construction materials and sheetrock dust cover the bare floors as we try to re-open the office building.
Just because our office is closed does not mean that our office is closed for business. We are open for business and have continued to meet clients via video conferencing, over the phone, and even in person at their homes with proper Covid-19 precautions. Our attorneys and staff have been working hard from our own homes for our clients.
Know that your safety is our number one priority! When the repairs to our office are finally completed we will continue to sanitize our conference room, social distance and wear masks. And as always, we will continue to do everything we can to:
+ Minimize risk in physical interactions and services;
+ Actively contribute to safety by innovating the way we do business;
+ Bring joy and be sensitive to the emotional needs of our clients trapped at home;
+ Provide pragmatic help to our clients in financial distress due to the pandemic;
+ Promote and guide the shift to alternate channels of communication;
+ Stay reachable and treat our clients with care in personal interactions; and
+ Care about our community through genuine company values.
Together, we will persevere through this tribulation, and our hope will abound as our character is strengthened. Don't forget that you matter. You matter to this firm, but more importantly you matter to God!
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. ~Romans 5:3-5
